Description

We are seeking a part time carer for our 9 year old son who has severe learning disabilities, is non verbal and has complex needs in the Twickenham area. Light housekeeping is required and some babysitting for 2 other children as needed.

You will provide a safe, nurturing environment ensuring the best possible care and support for our son and family following the principles of safeguarding and child protection.

Support with his daily routine (i.e. dressing, bathing, diaper changes etc)

Support his mobility, some lifting up to 25kg will be required

Peg feeding experience is desired but not required as training can be provided

Cleaning, ironing and other household chores

Support daily activities such as daily walks to the park and playing on the swing

He may exhibit some challenging behaviour and you must be patient and learn how to manage this.

Some training will be required which will be paid for by employer

Enhanced DBS is required and can be paid for by employer

You must have the right to work in the UK

Hours

10-25 hours per week

The hours are flexible but must fall within the following

Weekdays and at least 1 day on the weekend

Weekday 3pm to 8pm

Weekend 9am to 8pm
