RELIEF CARER REQUIRED TO JOIN MY SMALL TEAM TO COVER HOLIDAYS AND UNAVOIDABLE ABSENCES.

I am a female wheelchair user affected by a muscle wasting condition. I am looking for another female to join my team of personal assistants providing around the clock care including overnights. The ideal candidate will be honest, extremely flexible and absolutely reliable. A good sense of humour and the ability to have a bit of banter is essential. The flexibility to cover extra shifts for holidays/sickness etc. is essential

You will need to be over 25 and be a confident driver. I have an adapted vehicle which you will drive to take me on social outings.

There are no set hours or days as you will be covering holidays etc often at short notice.

I take pride in my appearance and due to my disabilities I rely on my personal assistants for physical aspects such as washing and dressing and it's a bonus if you are handy with a hairdryer! You will also be using a ceiling track hoist. The successful applicant must be physically fit as there is some moving and handling involved. Light household duties and fresh meal preparation is also required. Training will of course be provided and it's NOT necessary to have worked in care.
