Live Out Self Employed Personal Assistant Needed Immediately In Northwest London NW8 7HF

A lady is deemed to be essential for this position due to the nature of the work involved.

In the main the position is to look after a lady in her 40s who is totally blind and who also has various physical and mental health conditions including chronic illnesses and chronic health conditions.

Helping various members of the lady’s family their friends their acquaintances their work colleagues their office staff their household staff etc is an essential part of the position.

In 30 minutes or less by public transport or walking. Driving their own car will not be possible as there is only parking for the residents.

She must be 30 years old or older due to the car insurance on the car she will need to drive while she is at work.

Rate of pay £15/hour on a self employed basis.

Between 80/100 hours per calendar month.

Therefore £1200/£1500.

Hours and days worked can be negotiated within reason but candidate must be prepared to work some late evenings and weekends and possibly overnight stays.

A personal assistant is required to help the lady live her own life, in her own way, as independently as possible.

Job Description

⁃ Be fluent in English, speaking, reading, writing and listening. This is essential.

- Be proficient in using an up-to-date IPhone

⁃ General housekeeping and laundry.

⁃ Preparation, cooking and serving of all types of food and drinks including all meats and alcohol.

⁃ Driving to medical appointments and other wellbeing appointments.

⁃ Liaising with her medical professionals where necessary.

⁃ Ordering and dispensing medication including administering injections.

⁃ Helping to engage in activities for exercise.

⁃ Household and personal admin work.

⁃ Helping family members, friends etc.

⁃ Running Errands

⁃ Grocery shopping whether online or in person.

⁃ Taking and collecting the lady from wherever she happens to be.

⁃ Accompanying her to functions.

⁃ Accompanying her on trips whether nationally or internationally.

⁃ Helping the lady to participate in her interests, hobbies and other social activities, being a general companion.

⁃ An up to date clean driving license and DBS is required for this position.

⁃ Discretion and Confidentiality is necessary.
