Job Title: Personal Assistant / Driver.
Location: Chichester
Hourly rate: £15 per hour.

Hours/shifts: Saturdays 10am – 6pm.
Permanent contract with some additional stand in bank hours when available paid at £15 per hour.
Summary
I am a young man and I live in my own home with support.
I have been diagnosed with learning difficulties.
My parents live nearby and I visit them regularly. My main hobby is going out and about with my PAs in the community, I also like going walking and going to the shops with support.
I like a quiet environment with a set routine and I do not present any challenging behaviour.
I am looking for a personal assistant to help me live independently, help with domestic duties and social activities.
Other Requirements
• Must have a UK driving licence
• Must have access to own vehicle
• Other : Must be a non-smoker due to medical reasons.
All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check
Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
Description
Typical duties
Domestic -
Meals – helping me to plan my menus, shop, prepare meals, cook and wash up
Assist me to check my food is in date
Assisting me with general housework
Support me to manage my laundry
Support me to keep my garden tidy and clean as necessary.
Any other task that is reasonable
Personal Care -
Prompt me to ensure I dress appropriately for the weather
Support me to take medication if and when I need to take it
Assist me to manage my levels of anxiety
Ensure my safety in the community as I have limited understanding of dangers, traffic, etc
Social:
Drive me in your vehicle; mileage is paid at 40p per mile with me in your car. Your car will need to be in good condition and reliable.
Accompany me to places I visit e.g. shops, visiting my parents, walking, and going to the shops
Support me to plan my activities.
Support me in communicating with people in the community
Any other task that is reasonable

Be willing to be police checked (enhanced DBS). Please note that a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining the position.
