About Jean Pascal
• Jean is 34 years old.
• He has complex learning difficulties but is great company.
• He loves his coffees, drives in the car, good walks & spicy, savoury food.
• He needs help with daily medication, checks after toilet breaks, and outdoor activities.
• He has a weekly timetable of activities, classes and visits (e.g., day centre, gym, art classes), overseen and directed by his family.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensuring Jean is safe at all times.
• Helping Jean with routine daily tasks, including – after toilet breaks, personal hygiene and cleanliness, and guidance at mealtimes.
• Facilitating Jean’s daily activities and ensuring he follows his daily routine.
• Supporting Jean to make safe, appropriate choices in day-to-day activities.
• Administering medication as required.
• Taking Jean to his Day Centre.
• Taking Jean on short trips and other activities (e.g. swimming, gym sessions) under the direction of his personal assistant and family.
• Keeping Jean’s family informed of all relevant information daily.
Main Skills, Qualities and Qualifications
• Clean current driving licence.
• PVG disclosure check.
• Responsible, reliable and respectful.

• Empathy and Sensitivity.
• Timekeeping.
• Able to maintain confidentiality as and when appropriate.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Hours of Work / Annual Leave.
• £11.20 per hour.
• February Start date.
• 32.5 hours per week.
• Typical hours: 10.30am – 17:00pm, Monday to Friday.
• 28 days annual leave per year.
