Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Goring-By-Sea,Worthing

Hourly rate: £10.50

Hours/shifts: 1 hour a day Monday – Friday between 8:30am and 9:30.

Summary

I am a friendly and chatty lady with a direct and fair manner, I am looking for support to help me get ready in the mornings. I have a keen interest in music and love cooking. The successful applicant will be comfortable providing personal care as you will be helping me get showered and dressed and ready for the day ahead.

• Must be comfortable with cats

• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.

Description

Typical duties

Support and supervision with showering

Support with washing back and legs

Opening toothpaste cap

Support to dry and apply creams

Support to get dressed

Support with eye drops

Support to make hot drinks

Support with making lunch/meals for the day

Person specification

The successful applicant will be:

Female * due to personal care needs

Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality

Reliable with good time-keeping

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Honest and cheerful

Creative

Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom

Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
