Summary:
• I am a 65 year old male looking for support in Social Situations
• I need support with accessing Social and Leisure activities
• I require a driver with their own car
Other Requirements
• "Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9."
• Must be comfortable with pets
• Must be happy to work in a smoking environment
• Non smoker required due to medical reasons
• Must have a UK driving licence
• Must have access to own vehicle
• Other: I have a German Shepherd so will need to be comfortable with dogs.
I also Vape and my wife has Tourettes so will need to be able to cope with smoking and
swearing
All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
Description
Typical duties
Domestic -
Making tea for the employer and making a light snack
Personal Care:
• Minimal Assistance and present but may change as condition worsens
Social:
• Accompanying and assisting employer on shopping trips when required
• Accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities
• Driving and accompanying to social events
• Accompanying on trips out e.g. to take photographs at the beach or going for a coffee
• The above duties will involve driving the employer in the PA’s car, lifting the motorised buggy in/out of car when out.
• Lifting the motorised buggy in/out of car, putting it together and breaking it down

The successful applicant will be:
• Male * due to personal care needs later on
• Able to tolerate the employer Vaping in the work place
• Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality
• Reliable with good time-keeping
• Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
• Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised
• Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
• Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Honest and cheerful
• Creative
• Have an interest in history, fact & fictional crime, paranormal, comedy and horror shows
• Theatre Show and Muscials
• Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
• Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
• Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety
Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
