PA to Senior Housemistress and PA to Head of Sixth Form

Full time (year-round position)

Location: GU5 0DF

Salary: GBP31,617 - GBP41,939 per annum depending on experience

St Catherine s was founded in 1885 and in 2020 celebrated 135 years of successful education for girls.

The School is an Independent Church of England Day and Boarding School, in membership of the Girls Schools Association, with 850 pupils aged between 4 and 18.

The School is situated in a 25-acre site in the village of Bramley, three miles south of Guildford off the main Horsham Road (A281) and in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We seek to appoint from 1st February 2024 a PA who is energetic, flexible, friendly and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and willing approach. Working as part of a team is vital and the successful candidate should be able to work independently but also constructively within a small, closely-knit and very busy administrative team.

The role necessitates the ability to deal appropriately with a wide range of people from girls to parents to staff as well as visitors to the School; flexibility is the key as well as absolute confidentiality.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work on his/her own initiative and to prioritise effectively. He/she will also have good levels of stamina, loyalty and confidentiality, combined with a lively sense of humour.

The successful applicant will report to both the Senior School Housemistress and the Head of Sixth Form.
