We are looking for a People Policy Writer to join our People and Organisational Directorate on a 6 month, 21 hours per week Fixed Term Contract basis.
The People Policy Writer is a new role which has been created to support in researching, drafting and refining RBLs People policies. The role will be pivotal in ensuring that RBL maintains best practice in all People policies while aligning with our Diversity and Inclusion agenda, our culture, values and the mission of RBL.

The People Policy Writer role demands a proactive individual who can work with other departments, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of People Policy development and implementation within a charitable setting.
Key responsibilities will include:
Analyse existing RBL People Policies
Work with key stakeholders to understand their needs and develop each policy with appropriate contributions and best procedures
Work with the Employee Relations Team to check impact of proposed policy revisions on working practice
Conduct extensive research on current and anticipated People policies, regulations, and best practices in the UK charity sector, domestic legislative changes and international requirements
Develop and draft clear, concise, and compliant People policies and guidance documents
