This position is based at our HQ in Thetford, Norfolk, although you will be able to work from home part of the time on a hybrid working regim, and have the option to work occasionally from other BTO offices in Scotland, NI, Wales and Cambridge). This is a full time position, 37 hours per week (we are happy to talk flexible working).

This role will give you practical experience in different aspects of EDI and Human Resources (HR), as well as access to support, learning, and development, time to engage in EDI networks, and mentoring. On appointment you will receive an induction and part of this will be identifying a development plan to support you in the role and the development of the skills and knowledge to build a career in EDI, including access to relevant qualifications. Alongside this, you will also get a good insight into the BTO, its work, and the environment sector.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Administration you will assist with various aspects of the employee life cycle and be a point of contact for employee queries. Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) you will provide administration and support for EDI policies, processes, and procedures. EDI work will focus on internal-employee practices but will also involve looking at some external-volunteer practices. Project support By joining a charity with lots of opportunities for improving and developing systems and processes, you will work closely with the People Team on a range of projects. About you
