The Junior control Pelham puppets started production in 1947 and this one probably dates from the early 1950s.

The branded control is a simpler T bar

The painted features are good and strong, the felt cap has a few very small holes at the front but could easily be missed and given its age shows remarkably little evidence of wear.

The clothes are clean and unmarked

The hands are lead
