A PE teacher needed in a secondary school in Walsall. January start. Your new school

The school is an OFSTED rated ‘good’ school that Hays Education Wolverhampton have worked with for a substantial period of time. During our time working with the school, we have had many previous supply staff work there on both long and short-term placements. These staff members have always had really positive feedback about the school, particularly noting that they receive excellent support from the school during their time there. As well as supporting its staff, this school is really passionate about supporting its students, with the school taking a focus on the success and well-being of their pupils, they provide a supportive environment for their students to learn.

The location of this school makes it very accessible by both public transport and car, with there being direct bus routes from both Wolverhampton and Walsall. The school is also only a short drive from the M6.

Due to the interim, the school requires PE cover for the term. Starting January.

Your new role

This would be a full-time role 5 days a week, acting on a temporary basis. The role would require an experienced PE Teacher who is able to deliver engaging lessons to help the students’ progress towards their goals and help reach their full potential, whilst furthering your experience and developing your teaching skills.

As well as delivering PE lessons, you would also be required to keep track of students’ progress and provide a positive environment, whilst also engaging with other faculty members to maintain standards within the school.

What you'll need to succeed

Do you have a passion for work and are you looking for an exciting new role within a Walsall school preparing and delivering PE lessons to students in years 7 to 11?

If you possess a QTS or QTLS or you have just completed your PGCE and have previous experience teaching PE within a Secondary Education environment, this may be the role for you.
