Job Description

Service Care Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a UK charity who are offering a great opportunity to be a part of their fantastic team. They are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on 12-month contract. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a professional, efficient, and effective payroll administration and advice service across the organisation, in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

Provide an efficient and effective end-to-end payroll service in relation to the lifecycle of anemployee, including creation/checking of new employees, variations to contract, payments,deductions and terminationsEnsure that all staff members are remunerated in accordance with their work contracts.Process all changes to payroll records as received from HR source data.Ensure full compliance with all statutory payments, deadlines and administrative.submissions.Maintain the payroll system with up-to-date legislative changes and software updates, asdirected by line manager.Candidate Criteria

Relevant Payroll qualification(s), or the ability to demonstrate appropriate skills and knowledge.Sound knowledge of payroll legislation relating to payroll services; including HMRC requirements with regards to tax, national insurance, apprenticeship levy, RTI, auto enrolment, PAYE, off payroll working IR35.Experience of payroll and pension year end processes.Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate payroll issues effectively with a wide range of people and develop effective working relationships at all levels.Commitment to own continuous personal and professional development.If you are interested in the role, or know of anyone who may be, please contact Anas at Service Care Solutions on (phone number removed) or email (url removed).
