We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join a busy and friendly team based near Pinxton to cover 12–month maternity cover.
As the Payroll Clerk you will be responsible for running the in–house weekly and monthly payroll from start to finish, including statutory payments, pension schemes and time and attendance system.
The main duties of the Payroll Clerk will be:
Managing the In–house weekly / monthly payroll from start to finishCalculating and processing T&A hours worked, absences / holiday payUploading starters and leavers informationProcessing statutory payments such as P6, P45, P60, P11D, Courts Orders, Tax Credit etc.Managing a variety of company pension schemesInvestigating and resolving payroll queriesWorking to strict deadlinesAd hoc duties relating to payroll Ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Clerk should have:
Experience and knowledge of payroll processesAble to run in–house payrollKnowledge of T&A (time and attendance)Able to work within high volume payroll environmentExcellent attention to detail and able to work strict deadlinesStrong communication skills – written and verbalKnowledge of Sage payroll would be an advantage, training can be provided In return you will receive:
