We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join a busy and friendly team based near Pinxton to cover 12-month maternity cover.
As the Payroll Clerk you will be responsible for running the in-house weekly and monthly payroll from start to finish, including statutory payments, pension schemes and time and attendance system.
The main duties of the Payroll Clerk will be:
Managing the In-house weekly / monthly payroll from start to finish Calculating and processing T&A hours worked, absences / holiday pay Uploading starters and leavers information Processing statutory payments such as P6, P45, P60, P11D, Courts Orders, Tax Credit etc. Managing a variety of company pension schemes Investigating and resolving payroll queries Working to strict deadlines Ad hoc duties relating to payroll
Ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Clerk should have:
Experience and knowledge of payroll processes Able to run in-house payroll Knowledge of T&A (time and attendance) Able to work within high volume payroll environment Excellent attention to detail and able to work strict deadlines Strong communication skills - written and verbal Knowledge of Sage payroll would be an advantage, training can be provided
