Our client is a leading Gaming business with an ever-expanding footprint and a fantastic culture. Due to the continues growth, they require an energetic Interim Payroll & Benefits Analyst to help the finance team on a temporary basis. The business offer hybrid working model.
Role overview:
Prepare the monthly payroll submission for the UK, Irish and Modified payrolls, adhering to the deadlines agreed in the payroll calendar.Ensure the accurate and timely processing of pay/benefit changes, working closely with the Payroll Provider, People Experience, Global Mobility, Benefits and Finance teams.Answer non-standard questions relating to employee payments and deductions.Support stakeholders with queries on monthly payroll processing and report outputs.Monitor data flows to and from the payroll system.Carry out audits and data integrity checks to ensure alignment and accuracy across key systems.Manage the over and under payment processes, spotting and rectifying any over and under payments, solving the root cause, calculating net payment due, working with individual employees and the finance team to recover monies owed.Supporting with ad-hoc reporting requests and other duties e.g., Director's emoluments, Gender Pay Gap reporting, National Statistics surveys.Agree and communicate the payroll calendar on an annual basis, working with employees and the payroll provider.Shadow the Payroll Manager on a regular basis to ensure business continuity in event of absence. What we're looking for:
5 years' experience supporting multiple payrolls: to include UK, Modified and ideally other EMEA territories.Good working knowledge of UK payroll - including PAYE, statutory payments, and deductions.Ability to manipulate and interrogate large data sets.Advanced excel skills (pivot tables, V LOOKUP, complex formula creation).Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
