Payroll Administrator – Temporary Taunton GBP12.30ph – GBP14.25ph Our client are ideally seeking full time hours but will also consider part time hours from 16 hours per week or more over 3 or 4 days, providing ongoing cover until the end of March.Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with the collation of monthly changes to payroll, liaising with the external payroll company, checking to ensure accurate staff paymentsAssist with projects for the department, making sure that all necessary actions are followed through and completed as directedAssist in the production of management information reports as needed, i.e. collating data for reporting purposesMakes informed decisions, takes responsibility for own actions and completes all actions in a timely manner Experience and Skill Requirements
Previous payroll experience;Previous experience of working in an accounting/finance role is desirableGood working knowledge of relevant software in order to carry out the tasks for the role, such as Excel (including ability to create formula such as vlookup and sumifs as a minimum), Word and Outlook as well as relevant accounting and payroll software If you have excellent attention to detail, time management skills and can prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and targets then please apply.
