This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in Payment Operations, with a desire to grow in the role within a fast-paced environment. Our client is a start-up bank.You will hold responsibility for ensuring that customer payments are processed adequately supporting our frontline teams in providing our customers with positive outcomes time after time.
Responsibilities required for the role of Payments Administrator
Timely execution of payment instructions with a control frameworkAllocation of incoming and outgoing customer payments accurately and within SLAs across a range of internal and external platforms.Customer payments; refunds, DMC payments, Chargebacks, pending hold reversals (merchant holds), investigating declined transactions, unallocated payments, overpaymentsTimely processing of transactions in the exception's queues - including but not limited to unallocated, failed and pending paymentsEnsuring accurate and efficient delivery of payment operations processesProcessing inbound and outbound credit payment recoveriesComplete internal processes (SoPs), keep process documentation updated, share best practices, and highlight improvements and efficienciesDevelop into payments operations subject matter expertWork closely with Finance and Incident management teams, responding to actions following payment incidents.Resolving ad hoc payment requests efficiently and effectivelyInvestigating payment journey errorsAdequate follow-up on payment-related inquiries from various stakeholders Experience required for the role of Payments Administrator
