Role: Pay and Reward Consultant

Salary: up to 400 per day, depending on experience
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced pay and reward consultant to join our client based in London on an interim basis for approximately 2 to 3 months.
The ideal Pay and Reward Consultant will contribute to achieving the objectives of the HR and Organisational Development function by providing specialist input and advice on pay reward policies and practices and provide expertise on job evaluation.
The duties of the Pay and Reward Consultant include:
Carry out job evaluations using the Korn Ferry Hay and other evaluation schemes, ensuring a prompt completion to support business needs, and enabling consistency in the application and integrity of the schemesContribute to the review and development of pay and reward policies and strategies, conducting research and comprehensive analysis of schemesMaintain up to date knowledge on matters which affect pay and reward including case law and developments on equal pay and good practiceProvide specialist advice on grading and the content of job descriptions associated with new structures and reorganisationsContribute to the development on new pay and reward initiatives ensuring that proposals are fit for purpose and are in line with legislation, good practice, and the organisation's strategic objectivesProvide specialist advice and coach HR and OD colleagues and managers at all levels on pay and reward mattersUndertake detailed analysis of pay and workforce data to monitor application of the organisations policies and conditions of service, including the assessment of equalities impacts and financial implicationsLead on allocated aspects of pay and reward on behalf of the teamContribute to the development and implementation of the people strategy focusing on performance and rewardMonitor and assess the impact of existing sand new pay arrangements to assess organisational impacts, including equalities and financial implicationsRepresent the HR & OD function at internal meetings and with external agencies
The Pay and Reward Consultant will ideally have:
Understanding of and commitment to organisation policies in relation to Equal Opportunity, Customer Care, and service deliveryExperience of implementing policies and procedures in the workplaceMCIPD qualified or another equivalent qualification or qualified by experienceExperience in the use of the Korn Ferry hay job evaluation schemeExperience in the use of GLPC job evaluationKnowledge of current trends in pay and reward practiceKnowledge and understanding of employment and equalities legislation that applies to pay and reward
The Pay and Reward Consultant will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
