Due to the location of Sturt House and available transport links, it is advised that you are able to drive and have your own car to commute for this role. The nearest train station is a 30 minute walk or the nearest bus stop is a 10 minute walk with no paths.

What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with mental health. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn't do last week because of you.

The shift patterns include working nights and weekends, 12.5 hours a day, 2 days a week.
Where you will be working
Location: Sturts Lane, Walton on the Hill, Surrey, KT20 7RQ
You will be working at Sturt House, a recovery focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for males aged 18 and over. Working as part of a team, you will provide individualised care and treatment utilising least restrictive practice principles and safe practice to support Service Users in their recovery.
Sturt House is committed to delivering a high standard of care, with the Service User encouraged and supported to be actively involved in the development and review of their treatment and pathway in accordance with their own abilities.
