Part-Time Legal Cashier

We are currently working with a legal firm based in Rotherham that has been providing legal services to both commercial and personal clients for 137 years. They are well known for providing a personal, high-quality service to clients.

They have an opening for a part-time legal cashier to work in conjunction with their existing cashier, 2 to 3 days per week.

They are looking for someone who has a good eye for detail, a good background in finance and is capable of working to strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing vital support throughout the firm, reporting to the directors of the business to ensure client monies and company costs are processed and billed correctly. Discuss budgeting VAT returns and month-end reports with the partners. Adhere to Solicitors Regulation Authority Account Rules. Understand Anti-Money Laundering Regulations. Ensuring the firm's processes are followed in the required timely manner regarding client accounts, disbursements, and correspondence. Be able to take instruction from fee earners and other parties. Support team members; answering queries regarding processes, costs, calculations, and disbursement disputes. Produce checks and invoices. Process daily BACS payments for client settlements and office disbursements. Benefits:

The salary band is 22,000- 26,000 depending upon experience (but this is pro-rated according to time worked in the week). An added week's holiday during the holiday period.
