Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working exclusively with a global manufacturing firm based in Leeds, as they look to expand their team with an experienced Part Qualified Accountant.

The successful candidate will join a busy team, reporting into the Financial Controller and working closely with the Management Accountant, to provide extensive support across the month end process. This is a progressive opportunity, offering hybrid working and study support towards CIMA/ACCA.

Duties & responsibilities include:

- Monthly management accounts preparation

- Preparing and posting journals

- Accruals and prepayments

- Balance sheet reconciliation

- Supporting with budgeting process

- Preparing cash flow statements

- Assisting with the production of ad-hoc reports

- Attending meetings with senior management

Person specification:

- Studying towards CIMA/ACCA (part qualified)

- Experience in month end/management accounts production

- Strong system skills including Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs)

- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to attend senior management meetings
