Up for sale here is my trusty old parts P bass, originally based around a Squier I acquired several years ago in a bit of a state to say the least.

The neck was shot so I replaced it with a new maple Jazz profile (slimmer - my preference) neck which has a lovely Amber hue and blocked fret markers. I pretty much changed everything else thereafter, gold hardware Inc a Gotoh style high mass bridge, new electronics and, a new Entwhistle Neodymium P pickup. The aged pearl effect plate was on the bass when I received it but I don't think it's original as it looks to have been modified to fit in the past and doesn't quite line up over the control cavity but, I liked the effect so kept with it.

The body does show some signs of age related wear, some buckle rash and a few dings and paint chips but this would be at least 30 years old I'd guess so not unexpected. I've tried to show the worst.

The main colour looks blue at first glance but does have a kind of greeny turquoise undertone to it that isn't really shown in the pics, something I've never really seen before but looks really nice in person. (Imo)

I think I've covered everything, feel free to ask questions if you think I have missed anything or just have an enquiry, this bass served me well as back up for a number of years but recent and potential new purchases see this now as surplus to requirements and, while I'd love to keep it I don't think it's going to get the use it deserves.
