Part-time administrator sought for busy and welcoming parish in Hackney.

We want to appoint a parish administrator who will enjoy helping us do this.
The role will include promoting and administering hirings of St Michael’s hall; preparing and printing worship resources; drafting rotas; keeping the parish website up to date; coordinating building maintenance and liaising with contractors; GDPR compliant record-keeping; ordering stock; invoicing and assisting with banking; assisting with PCC governance such as circulating agendas and taking minutes of meetings, and preparing/submitting information required annually by the Diocese of London, the National Church and the Charity Commission.
The administrator, who should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, will have good organisational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail. The post requires an experienced administrator with good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to handle personal information and pastoral interactions appropriately.
The post is part time, 12 hours per week, flexible by prior arrangement (e.g. 2 weekdays 9-3.30, or 4 weekdays 10.30-2, allowing for 30 minutes lunch; may include evening PCC meetings). Salary £10,296.00 per annum.
