The vacancy is ideal for a paralegal or LPC graduate with experience in litigation to assist a team of senior solicitors/Fee earners in their credit hire and RTA department.
Responsibilities include:
Managing a caseload of (Apply online only) Fast track litigated and pre-litigated credit hire/Injury Claims Ability to run a case from Pre-Lit to trial. Ability to work as part of a team and with supervision to comply with firm processes. Ability to use case management software. Drafting Court documents and Witness statements Preparing trial bundles Ensuring cases are run efficiently and court directions are complied with. Regularly updating clients Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in litigation essential Ability to meet strict court deadlines. Strong focus on client care and managing members of the public through the court process. Strong organisation and time management skills Strong client care skills to assist laypersons navigate the court system. Great attention to detail and to spot technical points in Defences and evidence. Able to follow instructions of senior staff and comply with internal deadlines. Case management software experience Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and part of a team Ability to hit high targets on settlement and litigation. Good organisation skills are essential whilst working under pressure Knowledge of CPR and RTA/Credit hire is ideal but not essential. Benefits
