Artist - Franz Xavier Winterhalter (German) (1805 - 1873).

Empress Eugenie de Montijo was the wife of Napoleon III.

The print is in excellent condition for age with no markings or water staining which are often found on items of this age.

The wooden frame has some chips and cracks but this does not detract from the item.

The original oil painting by Winterhalter is currently on display in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas.
