Role Overview: As an Outsourcing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Personal:

Efficiently manage your portfolio, encompassing staff planning, WIP management, and billing.Build and strengthen client relationships, both with existing and new clients.Demonstrate commercial awareness in fee development.Prepare, review, and complete files, working papers, and checklists.Stay proactively informed about current relevant legislation and compliance standards.Serve as the main point of contact for client queries within your portfolio.Provide quotes and estimate fees within your level of authority.Conduct client meetings to pitch and tender for new work, preparing associated documents.Showcase proficiency in cloud-based accounting techniques and systems. Team:

Delegate work effectively and mentor team members.Provide constructive feedback to junior and senior team members on the quality of work and performance.Manage the team, overseeing work in progress and maintaining work standards. Skills and Experience:Personal Skills:

Confident, articulate, and effective communicator across all levels.Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential.Well-presented and professional demeanor.Patience in training colleagues. Your Experience:

ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years UK practice background, reaching supervisory level.Supervisory experience leading a team of at least 3.Portfolio management experience with a value of at least GBP350k.Previous management experience with a commercial and proactive approach to client development.
