Nursery: Bright Horizons Witney Day Nursery and Preschool
Job Type: Permanent/ Part-time
Salary: From GBP11.45 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are looking for a part-time, passionate Level 2 or above qualified Out of School Club Assistant, to join our Bright Horizons Witney Day Nursery and Preschool, based in Witney with great transport links and onsite parking. PLEASE NOTE you will be required to work from 8am-9am, and then from 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday.
The Out of School Club will provide wrap around care for children aged 4-11, from the local primary school, and will be based from our stunning setting which newly opened in March 2023. The nursery is spread over 2 floors, with a large garden area.

What you'll be doing
Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we're looking for
Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
