Original antique Victorian copper former gas lamp.
Corner mounted which is very large and impressive.
A lamp like this is very rare as not many have survived. Formally hung in the high street in Melbourne, Derbyshire.
Condition wise it's reclaimed but is beautifully weathered.
I'm selling this as reclaimed as just haven't got the time and it's a lovely restoration project for someone. And once complete you will really have a lamp like no other.
Works needed are :
The bracket needs straightening out and re painting.
One piece of the white glass is broken as pictured you may wish to replace or just silicone on the inside.
And there is no electrics fitted.
There is a hinged door which works perfectly and will easily allow access for a bulb change.
The lamp itself measures 34" in overall height, 15 in width and depth.
The bracket measures 41" in projection from the corner of a wall once mounted. And 27 1/2" in overall height.
Glazing is glass
Collection from the Staffordshire Moorlands. I don't really want to post this but I'm willing to meet a private courier if you arrange the collection. I could potentially palletise this to ensure safe passage but which I expect to be around £70.
