As the Operations & Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the company towards a more standardised range of products. You will be responsible for overseeing both the design team and the workshop, ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering and production teams.

The Operations & Engineering Manager duties and responsibilities include:

You will provide visionary leadership to the design and workshop teams, promoting a culture of innovation and efficiency.Lead and mentor the design and workshop teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Ensure effective communication and coordination between design and production departments.Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from design concept to manufacturing, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.Work closely with the engineering team to develop standardised designs for key products.Collaborate with the production team to streamline manufacturing processes and reduce costs. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a preference for mechanical engineering.Proven experience in managing both engineering and production teams.Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, from design through to manufacturing.Commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical excellence with business objectives.
