The Role:
We require an Operations and Recruitment Coordinator to provide effective and efficient operational and recruitment support to the Summer School team.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
This will be a dynamic role in which you will be multiskilled in handling multiple demands ensuring operations and staffing are organised in a timely manner.
Summer School Operations:
To organise on site activities To book excursion attractions and update providers throughout the year To liaise with the transport department to arrange excursions and transfers. To help set up and close-down the school for Summer School To assign accommodation to students, alongside our rooming policy To lead activities and excursions in times of staff / absences To perform any other administrative and operational duties consistent with the Tequirements of the role. To attend international sales events when necessary Summer School Recruitment:
To manage the administration of staff recruitment To assist with staff interviews To set up and manage staff HR files according to the Safer Recruitment in Education Policy To process all necessary DBS and background checks To maintain the single central record of evidence and background checks on staff To edit and format staff master files Managing Admissions:
To manage the administration of student recruitment To issue summer school invoices and visa letters To create and maintain spreadsheets and mailing groups Other duties:
To have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and to follow the child protection procedures detailed in the College's code of conduct. To manage the Summer School's social media pages To act as an overall responsible in times of the Director's absence To assist with tours of the College Whilst not in a teaching role, as Operations and Recruitment Coordinator you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role which gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children's barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. As with all College staff members, you will therefore be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn. About you:
