Main purpose of the role:
To assist the Operations Supervisors within both the Warehouse and Workshop areas of the business by administrating and prioritising the daily processes for either area. This includes enhancing internal customer perception, identifying and fulfilling departmental work flows and processes, promoting financial awareness as well as ensuring that the Supervisors are supported with accurate and timely reports to identify strengths and weaknesses of the departs activities.
Once all workflows and processes are learnt and understood the ideal candidate will have the willingness and ability to support the teams in driving continuous developments and improvements and where required offering ideas to enhance work flows and processes.
Ensure an unrivalled level of service is provided to all internal customers and their departments. It is expected that a flexible, reliable and participative approach is a pre-requisite for this role.

Temp to permMonday to Friday 8.30 - 5pmSalary up to GBP24k Key responsibilities:
Supports the Warehouse and Workshop Supervisors in ensuring that the departments achieve their target objectives by providing clear, accurate and timely administrative support. When required working directly for the Operations Manager by providing reports, data analysis and departmental records as and when required. Bringing areas of concerns to the Supervisors or Manager in a timely manner and promoting 'best in class' by recognising high performance. Support the Supervisors and Manager in driving profitability and improvements within the department through effective KPI management. Supporting with the booking of accommodations and deliveries to customer premises as required. Processing of expense claims and receipts and overtime claims. Work closely with the departmental Manager to schedule delivery runs for all drivers to ensure where possible the most time and resource efficient decisions are made. Assist with ensuring the departments' skills are kept up to date by booking FLT, First Aid, Driver awareness training etc. where required. Arrange and attend department meetings, take minutes and if required prepare and present reports to a larger internal group. Business experience within a service/engineering environment is of greater importance than academic qualificationsMS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)Minimum 5 years administration experience.Driver with a valid UK driving licence. Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills. Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff and management and respond well to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. First class telephone skills - polite manner, customer responsive attitude.Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently.
