Description

We are recruiting for an Operational Workforce Planning Lead who will report and be accountable to the Workforce Planning Service Lead within the e-Portfolio Management Office (e-PMO)

The Operations Lead - Workforce Planning is responsible for definition, development, implementation and assurance of the processes and tooling to develop the operational workforce plan.

Location - Reading/Basingstoke area

Salary - from 45,110 - 55,000

Key Accountabilities:

The development and implementation of the AWEs operational workforce (3 - year horizon) planning discipline and service to enable Functions to foresee resource demand and supply issues and mitigate portfolio riskImproving prioritisation and optimises deployment of critical and scares resources (3 - year horizon)Analysing workforce plans and programme demand, identifying shortfalls, surpluses and skills mismatches, and working with Workforce Practitioner to develop mitigations

Key Responsibilities:

Provide regular and accurate Operational Workforce Planning Management Information and analytics to all the Executive to shape future strategy and reduce programmatic risk.Ensure the integration/interfaces between Operational and Strategic Workforce Planning within the Workforce Planning Service, thereby ensuring programmes and projects are fit for purpose to enable effective and efficient P3M management.

Although not to be considered a checklist the ideal candidate will have:

Experience of CIPD or Workforce Planning frameworksEffective communicator with a range of Internal & External stakeholdersSupporting & influencing teams through changeExperience of a service delivery environmentExperience with PowerBI or other data analytics toolExperience within a highly regulated environment

All Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
