Description

Our client provides 1-2-1 support within the community and group support within specifically designed Play & Skills Centres for children and young people (age 5-25) with Additional Support Needs (ASN). We fully support the integration and independence of our service users by championing their rights and to be the best they can be, supporting them to live, work and stay in the mainstream of their communities.

Responsibilities:

Acting as first response by handling incoming and outgoing communication, both internal and external including answering phones, responding to emails and facilitating communication between different areasBeing an expert on maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, databases and filing online systems using ExcelAssisting with financial record keeping including timesheet tracking, payroll information, supplier payments and keeping Xero up to dateAssisting with the recruitment process, onboarding new employees and updating personnel recordsUsing collaborative systems such as Drop Box and Excel to assist with training requirements, updating training records, sourcing trainingAssisting with facilities, recording and logging year checks, repairs and sourcing maintenance on data systems ExcelManaging office resourcesOrganising events and meetings including booking meeting rooms, venues,Maintaining the highest level of confidentialityBeing professional at all times and maintain good practice when dealing with colleagues, children and young people, parents/carers, professionals and the general public Required skills:

Ability to organize tasks and manage time efficientlyGood attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record-keeping and managing tasks with precisionStrong verbal and written comms for effective interaction with colleagues, clients and stakeholdersAdaptable and able to handle change with a positive attitudeAbility to adapt to changing situations and problem-solving skillsMaintain confidentiality and discretion at all timesBuild positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and visitors to contribute to a harmonious workplaceCommitted to equality Salary:

GBP12,000 per annum

Working week:

30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
