Job description - the role
AMS is the world's leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. Our contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients' recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources. We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for an Office Assistant (Front of House) for a 4 week contract role (will be extended to permanent) contract based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience
About the Opportunity:
As Office Assistant you will provide front of house service and assisting with administrative tasks as required. You will be the first point of contact for all Client's visitors.In this role you will:
Providing "front of house" service to visitors and ensure that all visitors are aware of the Health & Safety procedures.Answering calls, taking messages and assisting callers proactively.Handling of incoming and outgoing post and arranging for couriers when needed.Booking taxis for Newcastle and other North offices when required.Ordering catering for meetings and events, keeping Facilities Assistant up to date with bookings and informing host/Facilities Assistant when catering has arrived.Providing administrative assistance to North WFM team as and when required.Booking Taxis for Newcastle (and other North offices when required).Providing main reception with car parking information daily.Monitoring & managing Newcastle office email inbox. Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Good customer service skills.Computer literate with a good knowledge of MS Office Suite, in particular Microsoft Outlook, Calendars, Excel and Word. About the client
