Description

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Office Administrator to become an integral part of the small but dedicated team in Leeds. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing office operations and providing essential administrative support to the Director and Senior Management. This multifaceted position requires a candidate with a strong organisational acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment.

This is a standalone Office Administrator position within the construction industry, and you will be responsible for the overall management of the office, handling general administrative tasks, and providing support to both the Directors and Senior Management team. Your role will be central to maintaining the smooth functioning of the company operations during a period of business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General office management, including answering calls and booking meetings.Supporting the Accountant with drafting invoices, ensuring correct details are obtained, and posting to accounts.Corporate support tasks, such as maintaining confidential files and assisting with insurance renewals.Maintaining sales summaries and managing client registers.Collaborate with the HR Manager on personnel matters and administration.Monitor ISO processes to ensure continued accreditation.Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in office administrationStrong organisational and multitasking abilitiesAn exceptional eye for detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in the MS Office packageInitiative, flexibility, and self-motivationPerson Specification:

Our client is looking for a candidate who embodies a flexible attitude, initiative, and a "get it right first time" approach. Your ability to maintain professionalism during busy times, coupled with self-motivated and a calm demeanour, will be crucial. A commitment to a small but dedicated team, along with a willingness to take on additional duties as needed, is essential for success in this role.

This company offers a small and friendly environment, with the ability to really make your mark on the role. This is a fully office-based role in East Leeds working 8:30-5pm Monday to Friday. Someone local to the office or a car driver is ideal due to the location.
