Our well-established client located in Blackburn; Lancashire are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their friendly team on a permanent basis with a salary of 28,407 - 34,581 on offer dependent upon experience.

Job Overview

Located Blackburn Lancashire, As an Occupational Therapist you are to provide bespoke and individualised treatment pathways for male patients with complex mental health, recovery needs and risk profiles. Therapy Services include Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy and education, in both our Low Secure and Rehabilitation and Recovery settings.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities as a Occupational Therapist you will be required to work alongside an established team this role will enable the successful applicant to develop their varied occupational therapy skills, across a range of core areas (including physical) and within secure mental health services: there are extensive on site facilities and links with the community.

Occupational Therapist, will be involved in a wide range of work, including assessing patient's needs using both standardized and functional assessments, delivering 1:1 and group-based interventions and being a valued and core member of the MDT's. You will contribute to the expansion and development of our OT various treatment pathways, including vocational placements in the local community as well as on site Real Work opportunities.

Skills Required

Occupational Therapist MUST hold the following qualifications BSc Hons or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and accreditation by the HCPC.
