Taking full ownership of your room, taking learning outcomes and transforming them into inspiring classroom experiences Being instrumental in creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where every child thrives Working in legal ratios in your room, with the support of Nursery Assistants and Nursery Educators Ensuring all Educators in your classroom take ownership of observing and assessing their key children, supporting them with setting goals for each child Being a role model for excellence, accountable for your team following best practice standards Supporting with meals and snack time, going to the toilet/changing nappies, and other generic childcare needs Having the ability to effectively communicate with parents, children and colleagues to deliver the best experience possible Acknowledging the diversity of each child's background, culture, disabilities, and medical history Provide insights and feedback to help us push the boundaries of excellence and reimagine what exceptional early years education really means What we re looking for
For the Nursery Room Leader role it is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum. To find out what quals count visit the gov website publication early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england You ll be a team player ensuring that you and your team meet the unique needs of each child, collaborating with the team to plan, organise and execute engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards for child learning and development You will need to have experience in nurseries as an experience Early Years Educator or a Deputy Room Leader or Room Leader Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered, prior to the date of the interview.
