Salary:
EYP - GBP22,000 - GBP28,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Room Leader - GBP23,000 - GBP29,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Location: Herne Hill
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are looking for full-time, qualified practitioners to join our nursery, with options for Room Leader roles. Ruskin House Nursery is located less than 10 minutes' walk from Herne Hill station, with convenient transport links to London.

Working at our Nursery
Rooms: Babies (3 months to 2 years), Children (2 to 3 years), Preschool (3 years to rising 5s)
Opening Times: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 51 weeks per year
Ruskin House is ideal for parents and guardians who have demanding work and transport schedules, as it is open from 7am-7pm, 51 weeks of the year, for girls and boys aged 3 months to 5 years old. The nursery is based in London in a beautiful, spacious Victorian building, complete with enviable grounds for superb outdoor learning.
About the Role
Plan, create, and implement engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Keep a record of children's progress and reflect on learning practices.
Communicate to develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships.
Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene, as well as following all child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
Provide support to fellow nursery staff and foster collaboration.
About You
Full and Relevant Level 2 or 3 (or above) Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
Enthusiasm for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the Early Years Framework.
