We are looking for a full time, qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our brilliant team at the RSC Nursery in our wonderful newly refurbished premises on Waterside in Stratford Town Centre. This is a permanent opportunity, working up to 45 hours, 5 days a week.
The RSC Nursery has recently relocated and is a well-equipped environment that allows children to explore and learn through play. In this role your responsibilities will include:
Providing a safe and secure environment where each child is cared for equally. Working as part of a team to ensure that children can play, learn, and develop. Acting as key person, keeping records of children's development, writing reflections to share with parents and families. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships and communication. Undertaking duties as required, including the preparation of snacks and cleaning of equipment. The ideal candidate for this role will have/be:
An early years and childcare qualification Experience of working with children from 6 months to 5 years Perceptive and patient with the ability to share our vision of providing a happy, creative, and supportive environment to promote a child's development Enthusiastic and able to use initiative and work well in a team and independently A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children The team are supportive of each other and proud of the work they do, enabling children to have a bright start as they begin their learning journeys.
The nursery operates between 7.45am and 6.15pm, the successful candidate can expect to work various shifts covering the hours required operationally, these include:
Full day 7.45am - 6pm or 8.00am - 6.15pm Morning shift 7.45am - 1pm Afternoon shift 1pm - 6.15pm RSC benefits and perks include:

We are also looking for practitioners to join our casual/bank staff team, to provide ad hoc cover for absence.
