NPI Engineer
Our client, a forward–thinking and rapidly growing medical technology company, is urgently seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to join their expanding team. This position requires a candidate with a strong technical background who is experienced in working on complex electro–mechanical products.
NPI Engineer responsibilities will include:
Ensuring engineering issues are resolved to achieve Production/Materials customer delivery dates and targetsManaging the cut–in of Engineering changes to Production/MaterialsWorking with suppliers on quality/process capability/cost–downLiaising with Development to resolve any product technical issuesEnsuring a smooth transfer of new products into Production using established NPI processesInvolvement with the Product teams from product concept stage onwardsProducing BOM and cost–estimation trackingImplementation of good manufacturing methods and practicesTaking responsibility for the quality of the products shippedContinuous improvement of products NPI Engineer essential requirements:
Effective communication skills at all levels within the organization with flexibility in your approachProven track record in a high–technology manufacturing or assembly businessA Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering subject is highly desirableDemonstrable experience in practical problem–solving and team workingGood understanding of modern manufacturing processes NPI Engineer Highly desirable:
