We are recruiting for an experienced & talented NPI Engineer to join an established team in the Royston area. The company design and manufacture equipment for the Biotech industry and are looking for someone who can interface with various teams across the business.

The Role:
Implement good manufacturing practices on a range of precision products. Collectively responsible for bringing products from development to manufacturing scalability. Work collaboratively with multi–disciplined teams to resolve product technical and production issues including R & D Teams from the product concept stage onwards. Utilising the Continuous Improvement tools in lean manufacturing (Root Cause Counter Measure, Six Sigma, GMP) to feed into CAPA & other quality processes. Actively ensuring products remain current/relevant including liaison with internal and external collaborators. Engage with colleagues & lead on problem solving to evolve products from concept to manufactured items. Deliver manufacturing efficiency enhancements in the production of instruments and their consumables. Use change management skills to develop flexible processes for robust product quality. Design responsibility for product Bill of Materials with cost estimation tracking. Ownership of engineering changes to production and materials to enhance quality, process capability and cost efficiency. About You:
Ideally 3+ years' working in a similar role with complex electro–mechanical productsPassion for New Product IntroductionDegree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering subject is a big plusProven track record in a high technology manufacturing or assembly businessGood understanding of modern manufacturing processesDemonstrable input to relevant product design & development processesProven experience of practical problem solving and team workingThe ability to understand & interpret mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering drawings What you will get in return:
