Nihongo Club Cambridge launched a brand new Japanese class last September for younger kids who have no Japanese heritage background but are keen to learn Japanese as a foreign language. This class will continue to the next level with a 2nd term starting on 13th January 2024.

Student Requirements

Note: This class is not suitable for students who are absolute beginners.

- Ages from Year 5 to Year 11

- Able to Communicate in English and of course Japanese if you speak!

- Willing to learn

- Parents Pick Up & Drop Off

- Student with Japanese language skills who have completed Level 1 are desirable.

Or equivalent, e.g. can read or recognise a full set of hiragana and can read numbers

from 1 to 20 is desirable. (It is preferable if you can read it all, but the class will review

and repeat it again. It is okay if you do not remember everything perfectly.)
