Job Title: Nightshift CNC Millturn machinist

Location: Tewkesbury

Shift: Flexible nights

Pay Range/details: up to GBP48,00 per annum (inclusive of shift premium)

Contract Type: Permanent

Calling Mill turn machinists! NIghtshift role available for a fantastic engineering business near Tewkesbury and the are offering a stable and lucrative career in their machine shop. They require a CNC Mill/Turn machinist setter/operator, to set and operate on a flexible nightshift.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding engineering drawings, selecting tooling, setting and operating the CNC machinery. They will be involved in producing batch work and one offs.

Key Responsibilities CNC Mill/turn Setter Operator

Your main responsibilities will involve;

Read & understand a 2D drawing views and tolerancing Set up and operate CNC MILL/TURNEdit machine offsets or change cutters/tips and re -inspect next item producedInspect own work to drawingUnderstand aerospace requirements/standards, tolerancing and controlsGeneral high standard of engineering abilityMaintain Area to High Standard 5S/5C Qualifications & Requirements CNC Mill/Turn machinist

Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineeringExperience of CNC and manual turningBe able to set and operate different machine tools What we can offer CNC Mill/Turn Setter Operator
