Neighbourhood Housing Officer / Property Manager

We are looking for a Neighbourhood Officer to work with a local Housing Association in Leatherhead on a temporary basis to provide local housing and property management services to residents.

You will cover a local patch to ensure residents comply with their tenancy agreement and carry out intervention and enforcement actions where appropriate.

As Neighbourhood / Housing Officer you will:

Engage with residents in the management of their homes and neighbourhood Deal effectively with issues and complaints Manage all internal and external common areas, in partnership with other staff teams Ensure that homes and communities are safe and secure Manage anti-social behaviour with the support of colleagues, external agencies and legal teams, where necessary. Work with local authorities and external stakeholders. Provide housing management support to vulnerable and elderly residents. Understand basic home maintenance issues and be able to advise and respond to residents. Understand needs of residents and signpost to relevant agencies. Respond to neighbourhood and community issues. Deliver excellent and inclusive customer engagement to listen to residents views, consult with and inform them. Follow all relevant policies and procedures to deliver neighbourhood and tenancy services. You will need:

Experience working with tenants and residents in housing services Knowledge of housing and Health and Safety Driving licence and access to a car
