Academics require a qualified Music Teacher who is able to teach the Music curriculum to GCSE on a daily supply, short–term and long–term supply basis within our local schools St Helens and the surrounding.

You'll have an opportunity to work in various schools whilst setting out the days you want to work.

You will be covering the usual class teacher in either the planned or unplanned absence and you'll be required to teach Music across key stages 3 & 4. Some short–term roles can become longer term for the right candidate.

As a Music Teacher working with Academics you will need:

Recent experience of teaching Music across key stage 3 & 4Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed) with QTSHave an adaptable and flexible approach and be able to use your own initiativeBe a confident teacher who can build good rapports with students and staffHold an enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (cost applied) The benefits of working with Academics
