Main purpose of this job is to support the manufacturing establishment for Wave 2 of development, upscaling production of energy generation units, and maximising site performance and output efficiency.
Main duties
Manufacture electrical and Mechanical components / assemblies from print.Design and build assemblies from first principle in low tech installations.Design and build construct small assembly lines and factory layouts.Work with Stakeholders to create Lean practices and procedures to remove 8 wastes.Drive EHS in all areas to support company EHS goals.Maintain facilities within the designated site for statutory and company compliance.Support R&D testing at the designated site and on customer site.Support Logistics movements between sites and suppliers.
Person Specification
Apprentice trained / HND / NVQ level 3 - 4 in mechanical / electrical principalsMinimum 4 years' industry experienceBeneficial - NEBOSH General cert / 18th edition / Lean Manufacturing training / Welding Fabrication / CAD / Machine tool operationExperience in FMCG / heavy industryExperience in Factory installations / outagesWorked with machine tools or similar high tolerance machinery.Worked on customer sites and experience in dealing with Customer requirements.Facilities experience working with LOTO / LOLLER / PUWER / HAVS / Gas systems / HVAC / FLTs / ISO 14001 / 45001 / 9001New Technology build commissioning on customer sitesInstalled large scale manufacturing Production lines.Carried out Capability studies / MSA / CPK value evaluationsExcellent communication and organisational skillsTeam player and collaborative.Capability to multi-task and work calmly in a logical and methodical manner.Ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.Problem Solving Skills - ability to analyse problems, break them down into smaller components and develop efficient solutions.Strong Technical KnowledgeTime managementAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
