The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of CMMS/PM maintenance and compliance and will cover the mechanical biased maintenance side of things as and when needed. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background, with a hands on approach and encompass project improvement skills, involved in and around CAPEX, maintenance and improvements. Improvement of site assets through RCM and Capex projectsManage the life cycle maintenance plan to ensure strong refractory reliability.Manage large capital budgets each year to perform all refractory and body maintenance.Work with companies and internal Novelis staff across globe to provide robust solutions to refractory management.Ensure reliability of ancillary equipment such as doorsEnsure strong reliability with a fix for life mindset towards burner systems and combustion management. Identify improvement opportunities within own area of ownership and other areas.Build and maintain bill of asset materials within plant CMMS.Refractory maintenance & reliabilityBurner maintenance & reliabilityFurnace ancillaries i.e., doors/castings/bodyworkManagement of a life cycle refractory planManagement of the burner and ancillary 5–year planManagement of CMMS system with regards to furnacesCreating/developing reliability measurements for furnacesEnsuring preparation for maintenance shutdownsManagement of site gas network and conditionDeveloping innovative solutions for improved performance/reliability/energy This is a challenging role; though for the successful candidate there will be an opportunity to broaden their skills considerably.
