Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to join an ambitious and growing Marketing Agency who work with a range of interesting client.
This is a role with a B2B Marketing Agency supporting a variety of well-known brands across multiple industries, but with a core focus on the tech sector. They help the clients they work with to target the right companies in unique and creative ways and enable their sales and marketing teams to work together in their approach to winning business.
The creative-led campaigns they run are at the heart of the company and set them apart from the crowd. They are a small, but close-knit team looking for the right candidate to fit into their fun (but focused) culture. Based near Gerrards Cross, this role will be mostly on-site with the option of working from home 1-2 days a week.
Duties in the Motion Graphics Designer role:-
Create excellent illustrations, storyboards, infographics and motion graphics animations from creative briefs Develop creative ideas for the brands that we work for, typically within the technology, manufacturing and professional services sectors. Conceptualise and produce social and digital content for the varied brands they work with. Monitor trends and developments in social media and graphic design as a whole. Work under the direction of our Head of Creative to deliver stunning, innovative and emotive design. Explain the rationale behind your design and how you got there. Take responsibility for your work, prioritise tasks, adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience required for Motion Graphic Designer
2+ years Motion Graphics design experience in a commercial setting. Strong understanding of the Adobe suite; Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Premier Pro You will have strong knowledge of Adobe suite software (After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Cinema 4D Have an attention to detail in colour, typography and layout. Be able to work with 2D and 3D graphics and motion design and be able to work from brand guidelines and generate ideas from scratch. Excellent layout skills and understanding of file types. Ability to follow brand guidelines meticulously. The ability to tell your story through design. A passion for conveying concepts through design. Able to present an engaging portfolio that showcases a wide mix of projects, with interesting rationales behind each project. Ideally, a good understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. Any print and/or InDesign experience would be a bonus too.
