THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join our team who can work well under pressure whilst delivery a high standard of MOT testing.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILIIES

Responsibilities include, although are not limited to the following:

Performing diagnostics, maintenance, MOT testing and repairs on a variety of vehicles to DVSA standards. Road Test Vehicles. Liaising with Service Advisors and Workshop on test result and additional work required Issuing relevant vehicle status once the job has been completed. Ensuring the workshop standards are always maintained. Undertake pre-planned vehicle maintenance according to schedule. Attend roadside breakdowns as required and recover vehicle as necessary. Following the Company procedure, complete job card and fault procedure SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following relevant skills and competencies:

Positive Can Do attitude. Customer Service, prioritising customers, delivering a high-quality service which meets the expectations of the customer. Responding promptly and effectively to queries and issues, continuously improving the service provided. Communication, effectively communicating at all levels from different backgrounds to ensure appropriate levels of customer service and care. Full UK Driving Licence as per groups required. Good knowledge of U-Drive services. Good standard of education to at least secondary level. Team player. Sound general knowledge of vehicle cleaning. Honest and trustworthy. Ability to work under pressure. Respectable presentation always REPORTING, LOCATION & TRAVEL

This role reports to the Workshop Manager and will be based at our Head Office in Poole.
